Image of the Year Award
The
Career Apparel Institute (CAI), a division of the National Association
of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD), has selected
Sprint PCS Retail Operations as one of this year’s Top 10
career apparel programs in the country.
Sprint PCS, along with other top winners, was presented with
the uniform industry’s HIGHEST HONOR, an Image of the
Year Award, at the Rio Suite Hotel
and Casino in Las Vegas. The awards ceremony included a fashion
show highlighting the award-winning programs.
Careerlook, Inc. custom designed the Sprint PCS program, a STYLISH
alternative to the standard choice of uniform, which consists of
a variety of mix and match corporate apparel. There are four distinct
collections that clearly reflect the PRESTIGIOUS marquis of Sprint
PCS, ranging from business casual to classic tailored corporate
wear.
Sprint PCS's RICH corporate colors of red, black, charcoal and
stone, along with custom designed mini check fabric, were carefully
coordinated, giving each uniform combination a complete ‘look’,
truly their own. Woven tops, polos, pants, sweater vests and v-neck
sweaters made of 100% cotton looked extremely SMART in appearance
and comfortable to wear.
The
same flair, SUPERB quality and attention to detail were used to
design a more tailored, dressier collection. Men and women's 100%
wool jackets along with matching men’s pants and women’s
skirts are the basis of this wardrobe. Coordinating men’s
ties and shirts and women’s scarves and blouses complete the
"CareerLook".
“We are honored to be recognized as one of the top programs
in the industry,” said Susan Kopperman, president of Careerlook
Inc., the California-based designer of the new Sprint
PCS program. “This is such a DISTINCT HONOR. More than 100
new career apparel programs were submitted for recognition. Sharing
this award with past winners like Mobil Oil, Coca-Cola and Exxon
is a reflection of Sprint PCS’s COMMITMENT to quality. It
is truly an honor to receive an Image of the Year Award."
The Image of the Year Awards honors end-users and suppliers who
have effectively used career apparel programs to project a desired
IMAGE or meet a stated goal. Companies are judged on the basis of
image projection, neatness, functionality, use of color, originality
and coordination of garments with accessories.
